Fire Effects & Sculptures-MelbourneFire effects and Fire sculptures are an amazing way to create a feature at an event or as a marketing tool. Fire effects are also perfect for film, TV and theatrical productions as set pieces or as special effects for that real fire look. Fire signs and sculptures use fire to create a design which is lit to reveal the design. The flames are real fire, in natural flame or coloured flame if desired. Fire effects can vary but commonly have a burn time of up to 10 minutes. Fire signs are re-usable and the effect can be replicated over and over again. Although primarily for outdoor use, some fireworks and fire effects are safe to use in some indoor environments however they still release some noxious gases and should be ventilated well. Continental Drift-MelbourneContinental Drift, a string quartet with a difference! Playing light classical, beautiful ambient background plus jazz & latin styles. They also play Tango, Gypsy, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Greek, Italian and Irish (just for fun). The group will tailor the music to suit the requirements of your audience and your venue. Continental Drift, also has a completely mobile set-up which means it can play anywhere outdoors and in a large venue can change position several times if needed, The band is also happy to play acoustically if that is more suitable. The band loves to play gypsy music because of the combination of instruments and their common attraction towards the beautiful melodies, dramatic mood swings and high energy inherent in this Eastern European musical style. They have found a wide range of audiences responded positively to the music because of its haunting melodies, passion and liveliness. The band has also pursued the very gypsy tradition of serenading people at their tables and attempting any special requests thrown their way. The barriers between the band and the listeners breakdown - the audience often joins in singing and are more willing to get up and dance.Because of the diverse groups of people this band plays for, other European music crept in. Hence the equally exciting styles of Tango, Jewish, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Italian, Greek, Irish, and Latin are explored. Equally important, Continental Drift plays Classical music, beautiful ambient music and swinging Jazz and Latin Styles, tailoring the mood of the function to suit the venue and client, (ranging from beach shirts at poolside parties to black tie functions). |

Scottish BagPiper-Ross-Melbourne Regarding Weddings, I am happy to perform at whatever part of the ceremony you may wish and can also make suggestions as to what would be suitable if you are unsure. As guests arrive, the piper plays an assortment of tunes 20 to 30 minutes prior to the ceremony The piper then plays the Bride or Bridal Party down the aisle, known as the Processional. Often the piper leads or sometimes remains at the rear of the Church or wherever the ceremony is taking place. The tune played at this point may be chosen by the Bride and Groom or a recommendation will be given. During the signing of the register, the piper plays a short piece of incidental music, usually of a reflective nature Once the ceremony has concluded, the piper will play for the Newlyweds during the Recessional. As with the Processional, the piper may lead or remain out of the way at the rear of wherever the ceremony is taking place. The music played here is usually more upbeat in nature than what is used earlier in the ceremony As the guests congratulate the Newlyweds, the piper plays an assortment of tunes for another 20 to 30 minutes If the reception is at the same location as the ceremony, the piper will often lead the Newlyweds to their table. If this is required but the reception is sometime away or at another location, extra cost may be involved. |
