The Band made the Semi-Finals of the hit Channel 7 program Australia’s Got Talent in 2009, performing in front of over 1.6 million viewers on two separate occasions, as well as being used for the show's promotion in TV ads, etc. They have played original shows at venues such as The Espy, The Hifi Bar, The Evelyn, National Theatre and Ding Dong Lounge amongst many others as well as performing from Bendigo to Frankston to Geelong to Ferntree Gully with bands such as You Am I, Electric Mary, and the original singer of AC/DC, Dave Evans. They were invited to perform at annual 'The Tamworth Music Festival' in NSW for 2010 after winning a performance competition.

Established in 2002 as Lurid, they are a four piece who play completely live (without backing tracks), and consist of drums, bass, guitar, trumpet, percussion, and vocals. They have played hundreds of shows, both private and public, throughout Victoria and Melbourne, always putting on an exciting and professional act. They can be booked as a band, or a duo, or both.

The Brosthers Funk have been performing in both licensed venues and at private functions since 2007 around Canberra and Southern NSW. Playing all your favorites from the Blues Brothers, each band member comes dressed in one hat (black), one suit (black) one tie (black) and cool blues sunnies. The J&J Band have played quality live music covers around Geelong, the Surfcoast and Melbourne for the past 10 years. Specialising in 60’s 70’s and 80’s, J&J aim to sound as close as possible to the original artists they cover.

Jason has been working professionally as a musician in various outfits for over 18 years. He has recorded and produced seven albums, and has performed live nationally and in several states in the USA. He has supported Renee' Geyer, Russell Morris and Brian Cadd.

Jane (flute/backing vocals) has a music degree (honors) from the University of Melbourne. Nerida (percussion/backing vocals) has been playing in bands for over 15 years.

As a trio, J &J perform mostly at weddings and corporate events. You can also book The J Band as a duo, (or Jason as a solo act) for pubs, restaurant bars or other such venues.
