The Group have armour from all regions of ancient greece as well as authentic design ancient greek tunics. All are authentic in design in every way and all hand made.

They are a group of people who are located in Melbourne and the state of Victoria who specialise in Ancient Classical and Hellenistic Greek re-enactment. The group's focus is to study, replicate and perform with military and civilian equipment from the period of 500-200 BC.

They pride ourselves on the fact of having realistic and internationally updated knowledge on Ancient Greek culture of this period. Together with our companions/associates the Sydney Ancients, we have made professional appearances in film and international commercial advertisements using the unique Greek Hoplite Warrior imagery.

A major aim is to make aware to the general public that Greek culture not only lead the ancient world in philosophy, democracy, art and citizenship but also the genius of military prowess, arms technology and application on the ancient battlefield. This ability and determination to repel invaders over the centuries earned great respect and enabled Greek culture to flourish and spread through the Mediterranean world, inspiring the emerging Roman Republic.

The imagery of Greek Hoplite Warriors seems to have international appeal and encapsulates the beginnings of early European cultural determination and sense of galvanizing order out of chaos. School children or adults who may or may not have been exposed to literature of the Illiad, Odysseus or Alexander the Great can easily identify with this imagery and instantly recognize the symbolism of Greek struggle for independence and freedom.

Dhani is an experienced MC/Presenter having hosted various large scale events such as fashion shows, children’s entertainment and live stage shows as well as professional spruiking for a vaiety of different retailers. Denise Drysdale began working with television at 10 years of age with Channel 9 in Melbourne.

Denise was a regular on Graham Kennedy Show In Melbourne Tonight and was Melbourne’s first Go Go dancer.

Denise’s popularity led to the Australian Government inviting her to perform for the troops in Vietnam for three weeks in 1967. In 1969, she went to the Far East to entertain American troops. In 1974, she became Ernie Sigleys’ barrel girl on The Ernie Sigley Show earning the nick-name Ding Dong. Denise has won two Gold logies and several Silver Logies.

Over the years Denise has appeared regularly on numerous television shows including The Ernie and Denise show which was very popular viewing.

As an actress, she has appeared in many movies and plays. In 2000, she celebrated 40 years in television, an extraordinary achievement for any performer.

Lately her work has centered on TV1. She also appears on a television commercial for Bev Marks Beds and does regular guest talks around the country, in between entertaining the Senior Citizens with Morning melodies concerts and presenting fashion parades and other shows.
